Converter breaker trips when battery disconnected.

If I plug the camper in while the battery is disconnected the breaker for the converter trips. If the battery is connected and I plug in it does NOT trip the breaker. Normal? Nowhere to dump the s...

This is the 120v 15a branch circuit breaker in the RV right? Or is the garage GFCI tripping?

No cables are disconnected... you are using a switch to disconnect the battery?

What happens if you plug in with battery connected and then disconnect the battery?

What converter model? Anything else on that circuit?
