I kept forgetting my car keys. Climbing steps. So I made a peg above the door that the cord with the keys hang from. If I exit the keys whack me in the forehead. The long cord allows me to hang the keys around my neck so I do not drop them somewhere. The ding-dong in the car shouts to remove the keys from the ignition and the door locks are blocked until the keys are removed.
