Converter breaker trips when battery disconnected.

If I plug the camper in while the battery is disconnected the breaker for the converter trips. If the battery is connected and I plug in it does NOT trip the breaker. Normal? Nowhere to dump the s...

7155 should operate with no battery just fine.

I assume "GEN" is for "general" not "generator"
GEN would indicate to me there is other stuff on the circuit and very common for 30a RV. I would isolate the converter and even try a different breaker to further isolate the issue.
