Iota specs actually do give the VA.

The 55 amper wants 1620VA and can pull 15 amps (15 x 108v =1620W)
The PD9260 spec says it wants 1000 watts input and we know it has a 0.7PF so that would be 1428VA required?
Is the higher Iota number due to output at 14.8v vs 14.4 for the PD?
BTW PowerMax is indeed revising its spec sheet
I was wondering if a PF-corrected 55 amper could be run on a Honda 1000 (900VA ISTR) but it looks like it couldn't based on the above?
In that case, since you would have to get a 2000 to run it anyway, there would be no advantage to make it PF corrected?
