I wired a 30 amp receptacle near my shore power cord. The receptacle is connected to the 120v outlet on my 2000 watt inverter. To power my RV from my inverter, I simply plug my shore power cord into the 30amp receptacle.
With this setup be sure to turn off or disable your charger when on inverter power. On my converter/charger I keep the "charger" circuit breaker switched off. I charge my battery bank (2x6v) primarily from my 250W solar array (with TriStar 30A mppt charge controller). It all works pretty good so far.
