What exactly is a deck mount stand alone converter? Are the breakers seperate? Excuse me for my lack of knowledge as I'm still learning.

That's a pic of where my breakers are, and I'm assuming my converter. I'm not sure how to check if I have enough room.
You have a Power Center type converter/charger. A deck mount converter/charger doesn't have the individual circuit breakers and fuses, only a connection to the battery.
It is possible to convert the Power Center converter/charger to a deck mount converter charger.
