So AGM need to be vented? Hmm I thought the only time
They gas out is when they overcharge but with regulators and what not that prevent it it's rare. The reason I was going with AGM I'm the first place is because I've been told they are the one battery that can be inside the vehicle without ventilation.
As for the converter it will be going in the old battery compartment, separate from the new house battery bank. Now I need to find a space for the transfer switch. Boy does real estate fill up fast.
don't confuse two DIFFERENT issues
AGM's don't normally out gas
that does not mean you should place them in the same cabinet as the converter or near an electrical switch that might spark
batteries and converter OR inverter should not be in the same compartment
