So I got a deal on 4x Trojan 6V-AGM Batteries, so that's what I'm going with.
Be sure to read the charging instructions for temperature compensation related to charging Volts before you order a converter/charger.

I may hold off on ordering a converter for now as I won't be wired into shore power for the duration of my trip, it's 5-6 days of boondocking, I'll be using minimal appliances (water pump here and there, phone chargers and my sound system which will be wired to the battery). You can get busbars for batteries wired in series?
Im still learning more about cycles. Like can I just have my solar charging the batteries all day or do I need to charge them strategically, like if I drain to 80% and charge up to 100%, that's a cycle?
So all I'll be doing for now is replacing the 12volt flooded with the AGM. That battery is wired to be charged by the alternator and converter. My friend Is an electrician so he will be there to help but I'm guessing I should replace all that wire before switching them over to the AGMs.
