insurance requirements mean they have to replaced at a SET time period cycle, whether the need it or not
most spend their "service time" never being used
electric vehicle hobbyists buy these by the pallet load, not much above Scrap pricing
3yrs ago i picked up "4" 100# 140amphr, deep cycle high output AGM's for less than the retail price of ONE brand new one
they tested as NEW then
and they still test good, at 154 weeks of everyday use
i'm in the market to buy more IF i can get them
