convertor not charging

I did a bit of searching but did not find any info. The convertor was installed in 07 and the other day while the trailer was plugged in the low battery started to beep. Does a battery have to be installed to check output voltage? Could there be a poor ground connection to the trailer frame? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Henry
  • Check the circuit breaker between the battery and the distribution panel (should be close to the pinbox).

even the newer ones tend to get cranky. My Magnum PSW converter doesn't like me killing the batteries either.
