Costco 6V GC battery specs?

I was at our local Costco yesterday looking at their GC batteries. The book hanging off the rack states that the RC is 107min. The label on battery states that it has 100 min with no reference to rate or RC. The sign on the rack says that it has 100 CCA. Pretty vague! The caps for the cell are identical to the Interstate 6V GC.

The "tech" stated that is was only for GCs?

Can anyone shed any light on this battery?

I believe RC at 107 or 100 is NOT going to be a 220/232 amp hour battery.
I would only trust what is on the battery itself. Probably 208 Ah or less.

Compare RC & Ah here at US Battery

That said my vintage 2006 Costco GC2 are still serving well in part time use.

Thanks, That chart would indicate that the US 1800XC2 is the same as the Costco 6V
  • Another interesting number is the height of the battery at 11 11/32" compared to a T105 at 10 7/8". The difference is almost 1/2"

You should have asked if it was only for certain makes of Golf cars. It's so fun to catch a salesman bluffing his way through life.

  • What's the latest price anyone recalls for the Costco 6v? Our Costcos around Denver don't seem to carry these... 12V only around here it appears.
  • RoyB's specs are on the money, I replaced my T105's with the Costco ones and have had, as far as I'm concerned, just as much power and endurance. At a much better price.

As far as the tech saying that they are only for GCs all I can say is:@
BTW I replaced 6 in the GC too, same results.
  • Golf Cart batteries usually do not list CCA as it's not applicable....Dennis

I copied this from another forum sometime back...

"Okay, ended up having to call Costco for the full specs... here is what they gave me:
    6V
    220ah@20hr
    63lbs
    100min@75amps
    425min@25amps

These are manufactured by Johnson Control-- the model is 2-gc5 CCA
    They are $75.99 a piece."

This is the spec sheet for the TROJAN T105s

I don't know the specs on the Costco 6 volts but they have a good reputation on this forum. Lots of members use them and I'm sure they'll chime in.
