Couch Removal

I spoke to Scott in Service at Thompson Family RV where we purchased our TT. He was very helpful and said as you all have that it's screwed into the wall with short screws and that there would not be an electrical problem to deal with. It's very helpful to have a dealer that is always helpful and available. I'll make every effort to buy there again even though they are far from either home.

Sorry, I believe ours was too. Either way, it was an easy job. Just took some maneuvering to get it out of tt.

My couch was screwed to the wall, not to the floor.

Our Windjammer 3008W couch had straps attached at the back that were then screwed to the floor. We removed them and took our couch and table and chairs out and replaced them with a full size s & b couch. Did a lot of measuring of door opening and couch beforehand. Our table was just a catchall for "stuff". We always eat sitting in our recliners, so this way we moved one recliner to where the table was. DH built shelves to put where that recliner was for our kitchen appliances. Makes viewing tv much more comfortable. But, it is just the two of us, and this makes it so comfortable when we are stuck inside on rainy days. We are spending three months in our Windjammer in Southern AL and love it.

There are usually screws holding a couch in place. Remove cushions or drawers to locate these screws.
