Looks like I was dead wrong in my estimation of how this would go. I hope things continue to work out well for you.
I don't see any reason to use assembly lube on the flywheel when mounting it to the crankshaft. It's not supposed to move on the shaft once assembled. My understanding is that assembly lube is used for parts that are normally lubricated by the engine oil but need something to hold them over until it gets pumped through when the engine is first started.
