Dometic said the shroud was made of fiberglass. I don't think they know what their own product is made of.
Have replaced with aftermarket shroud I found on Amazon for @110 including s&H.
I do intend to see if the old shroud can be repaired just want to know so if someone else has similar problem I can come back with dacts which is more than I got from Dometic.
