Thought I would give an update on my door repair. The hinge repair kit is pretty slick and I'm glad I went that route instead of springing for a new door. The kit actually makes your hinge stronger than new, installed fairly easy, and you really don't notice the repair. Way cheaper than a new door. One caveat is that your door hinge can't be broken too badly for the kit to work as you still need some hinge material to support the bushing.
