Darned right it's tempting. I can't buy Phillips head black oxide 6-32 and 4-40 screws locally, despite living in a megalopolis, so I ordered 100 each of long pan head and flat head screws in each size and just cut them to length as needed with my crimper/stripper/screw cutter. I need to look into getting a similar screw cutter that can handle small metric sizes since I recently bought 100 long M3 flat head screws. - gotsmartExplorerIt's an Imperial IE-114 linky $18.53 USD
