I have the 2025 Tri so that wouldn't work. Its all about the AGM specs, which are all over the map depending on brand and type. Lucky for me, my AGMs want 14.8 ish charging and 13.8ish Float.
That goes with the standard EP Solar charging profile for Wets, which is get them to 14.8, stays there for two hours then drops to 13.8 all automatically. My Tracer MPPT does that, and also that happens to work just right for where we camp in the summer for time at Absorption before going to Float.
My Eco-Worthy MPPT has adjustable voltages for charging and float but does no time in Absorb so it gets the batts to 14.8 and drops to Float but that can only be set as high as 14.5. So depending on how long you want to do Absorb, you have to go out and reset the Float voltage when you want to drop to Float. In real life it is not so busy, since most days I just leave it at 14.5 till dark.
So I now have the Tracer in the truck camper with the three 100w panels on the roof, and the two AGMs, while the 5er has the Flooded batts, the Eco-W, and the 255w panel in the contraption.
Every year I get better ideas based on how camping went so far and any new ideas from this forum. If you stand still, you get run over! :)
