CTEK 2500 charger

I'm looking for chargers and came across this one. Anyone have this or have comments? It's over $200 and I want to make sure it does all it claims.
CTEK25000
  • THE OPTIMUM CHARGER

    • Has charging potential 50% of the ampere hour rating of your battery bank
    • Adjustable absorbsion set point - 14.2 to 15.4 volts
    • Adjustable timer at absorbsion limit: One hour to six hours
    • Float voltage adjustable limit 13.0 volts to 15.0 volts
    • Four thermistor inputs for temperature compensation
    • AN ALARM IF TEMPERATURE RISES TOO HIGH OR A SEVEN DEGREE F DIFFERENTIAL IS DETECTED BETWEEN THERMOCOUPLES
    • Metering that shows individual setpoint values, then switches over to monitoring when exiting setup menu
    • WHEN PIGS FLY
  • BLF13- I saw that 14.4v, but it's the removing sulfating and reconditioning modes I'm interested in. Going to use it when I return home. Goes to 15.7 at 3 amps on reconditioning.
    here's the manual

The Black and Decker has been discontinued and has bad reviews, the fan doesn't last.
  • It only goes to 14.4v which is too low for some batteries.

It is only a 25 amper which is not enough amps for charging from a generator when running time matters.

It's recondition mode says it will restore power by fixing stratification. So the ad writer has no clue what stratification is.

You might like the VEC1093DBD depending on what the job is.
