I don't know the new ones that well. But sounds like it is not producing AC voltage. The quad single comes from the stator windings to the voltage regulator.
I am also on smokstak where some of the guys know more about the newer units than I do. If you go to the Onan site posted. You want to deal with Hank. I have known him for years. He is a good honest man.
