Yes they are. Like the OP I too bought mine from Costco when they had that special on the Cummins p4300ie.

hows this I just rebuilt a cummins 6500 for a guy, waiting on a new switch, if the new one works I got two extra keys. I,d mail you one free. some idiot put a screw driver in the slot and messed the switch up. also I found the new switch on e bay type in YITAO switch and see if there key looks like yours.

I would think a Cummins Dealer could order you one.

My guess would be that the keys are all alike. I know that all the keys for lawn tractors and school buses (within certain brands) are the same. Same with the cargo bays in the RVs.

You may want to google search for that key, or at least contact Cummings to see if they can send you in the right direction. I just replaced the key on my lawn tractor...had to replace the entire switch, as the key had broken off in the ignition. A spare set of keys were about $7.
