A deck mount converter makes for a good portable charger. This one has adjustable voltage so you can pick 14.X for your battery specs. It stays at the set voltage until you change it.
The 60 amps would be about right for a single LFP, where they will do 1C but are recommended to be charged at more like half that for longer life.
It would need a 2000w gen, not a 1000w though. You can use a cut off ends of jumper cable in the DC terminals --#6 AWG cu would be best for 60 amps.
(they come in smaller amps sizes too of you don't like 60)
You leave it on at your chosen 14.x until the LFP is as full as you want and then unplug it. If you did want to float it, you can dial down the voltage.
I prefer the PowerMax but you could do the same thing with a PD (at higher price) at fixed 14.4v and CW to hold it at 14.4 until you are done and then unplug it. PD makes one that stays at 14.6? for LFP you could use but lacks flexibility for other charging uses.
