Noted. Also noted is that 200 amps on a 500AH bank is 0.4C rate, and that 35% DOD and to avoid the upper knee, your range is about 35-95 so 60% of rated AH. You also use AH counting.
Don't tell anybody here that you are not using 100% of the rated AH or you will be tarred and feathered
The ability to have it and not need it goes a long way. Having a larger solar setup keeps me away from the low low SOC because even on a crappy overcast days my system will give me enough to carry my daily loads and then a little charge, if rain is with those conditions all bets are off for charging and maybe a little charge will cover the loads. If I were to add another 320w solar that I did wire in for but decided not to use it I could probably eliminate my 12+ times a year that the generator is needed for a holder boost charge.
