Itinerant1 has an excellent set-up and he monitors it like crazy, which is how to do it IMO.
The key to operating within sensible parameters is that you have to know where you are at. If you only have one or two LFPs in the bank, you do not have as much wiggle room as he does with his 500AH bank, so even closer monitoring is required to "avoid the knees".
