you might be right now that I think about it. would depend if it only isolates the charging or if it totaly disconects the battery. if a high voltage or current in charging causes the BMS to totaly disconect the battery that is not a good way to do it haha..
I always say if your going to spend that much on batterys get the proper converter so a 14.6V constant voltage converter in this case.
