Dang doors

We have found that if our rig is level the cabinet doors stay put. But we also close them all the way when not in use.

Get the RV level.

Maybe you need a different style of latch to hold the doors tighter. Never had that problem with my last 2 trailers.

Ours don't swing even when opened. You must not have your rv level.

You can get spring-loaded hinges that are a direct swap for the typical RV cabinet hinges.

We had ongoing problems with some cabinet doors and a couple of drawers opening during transit, usually from hitting a speed bump a bit too hard. Replaced most of the common cheap roller catches with Southco Grabber catches. RV Designer and JR products has them too.

Sometimes the factory does a poor job of installing roller catches and they can be misaligned or even damaged. Sometimes you can simply add a 2nd one.

Ours take 2 hands to open. Get better latches or spring hinges.

There are many residential kitchen type cabinet latches available at home improvement stores like Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Some are magnetic, some snap, some use velcro, some are used with small children in the house. You can even install key type locks if you choose. (like what goes on a desk drawer) Most hinges are available with some type of spring loaded self closing feature. Pick your poison. Certain roads in New Mexico are so bad that I have to use strap ties and bungee cords to prevent things from flying about because the doors/drawers fly open. Non skid shelf liner also helps.
