Twice now I have managed to kill my Interstate 6v batteries twice flat. I am charging them back up now. What kind of damage do you think I may have done to the life span of these dudes? I purchase...

Exactly why I earlier referred to the OP's so-called "recharge" as a phantom charge ... with no reading showing on a DVM those "dudes" as the OP calls them are deader than dead, they're scrap. :(
