I have been monitoring my refrigertor lately in this cold weather. It works fine if ambient is above freezing, but will start to warm up when the temp approaches freezing. Two days ago, freezer was at 2 deg. nightime temps went down to about freezing and freezer went up to 37 deg. Went back down to 0 - 2 deg as the day warmed up. I don't think that they tolelrate cold weather very well, much like a heat pump. I bet yours will be fine when it warms up, hope so anyway.
