Hi Bob,
Two paths.
A replacement cooling unit.
or
A small residential fridge.
I would pick the residential every time.
Regarding the res unit:
Challenge is Don, that I boondock a lot. And I have to be conservative about my battery usage.
Right now I'm in Calgary and have access to shore power, but it isn't always like that.
I know I could run it off an inverter, but then I have to replenish my batteries.
I carry a Honda EU2000i, but prefer not to run it unless absolutely necessary.
Thinking of sticking the heater back there for another night.... can't hurt I guess.....
I don't have any idea how long it takes to thaw one of these things out once frozen.
Research I have done suggests 48 to 72 hours in a warm place. That is with the refer removed and put into a room temperature location.
S'ppose I could do that, don't really feel like peeling this thing out of here. Then I have to plug the propane and insulate the fridge hole so I can still live here.
Guess I could put it on the floor of the TT to thaw for 2-3 days.
But then I don't know enough about it to determine if that will help. I launched a lot of BTU's at it all night last night, lower stuff was very warm to the touch.
