Yeah solar.....
I have big visions of putting a ton of solar on my roof. $$$$$$$$
But this TT of mine is old, a 97. It is a great upgrade from my 95 Sportsmen, and it does serve me well, but I do want to upgrade to a true 4 season unit from this thing. And I am going to do so ASAP. I'm making a decent buck here in frozen tundra land, but expenses are climbing too. A 30 pounder every few days adds up, but I can handle that. It is things like the fridge going south that gobble up some serious payola bucks. Hopefully my other major stuff keeps going. furnace fan is screaming on startup. Been too blasted cold to rip it apart and fix it.
Can't open a window or a roof vent, they are all covered in ice and frozen shut.
If I had to make my way out in an emergency, I'd be head charging a wall, because these windows aren't going anywhere until spring thaw.
Gave up on my FF in the bathroom, frozen shut.
A buncha mods to be able to run on solar and an inverter cost more than a replacement fridge.
Ah heck, not sure what to do here.
Meanwhile, I have isolated a lower storage compartment at the foot of my bed. I put all my perishables in there along with my outside remote temperature sensor so I can monitor the thing. 31.8F in there. Good for food storage, but helpful for a thread a few times back about my underwear sticking to the wall! LOL!
Even after all these trials and tribulations, I would not trade this for any plush hotel! :B
