As much as I love my solar system, I would eiether repair or replace the existing refrigerator as well.
I wonder what is damaged by freezing? Does the small diameter tubing expand to the point where the pressure isn't maintained? Or does it rupture and leak out the refrigerant? Not sure what else could happen? Maybe someone more knowledgeable will jump in and explain it.
