Not all compressor ship with oil, and they usually overfill the oil. You should use Esther oil which is compatible with the seals in the system. I would only add about 4 to 5 ounces os oil. If you replaced the compressor you should also replace the orofice tube or expansion valve, whichever your syst comes with. Make sure to pull about 24" of vac. For about 12 min.
