Dead battery so quickly?

Ok, so, what on a more than 40 year old trailer could kill a battery in one evening?

I am trying to isolate whether or not it is the battery. If it isn't the battery, then out comes the multimeter to find the problem.

me? i'd hook it to a charger and go from there. after charging let it rest for abt 15-min and then check the cells with a hydrometer.

it's one of three things..

- battery is defective. re-charging should answer that.
- battery wasn't fully charged when you bought it. re-charging should answer that.
- you had more of a draw than you thought.

What is the advertised amp hour capacity of the Code 24 battery?

“I was told it was fully charged.” That’s worth nothing.

I am learning not to trust someone when they say it is charged. I will have them do a load test prior to taking it.
