dead engine battery

can anyone tell me if its okay to jump my engine battery off my house batteries . is it that simple .

    X2 I agree.

    Since you have power from your house (shore power) why not connect a battery charger to your engine battery and recharge the battery that way? It is a whole lot safer, easier and won't potentially harm your charging system.

    Even my 2008 Winnbago and current have a switch to start it off the house batterie, I am sure you will find the switch on your dashboard

  • It will work unless the dead battery is shorted internally and then your asking for serious problems, like fried alt. or fire.
