Exactly ! If theres anything I hate is an inconsiderate camper running a generator 4 hrs straight .Any considerate camper will charge daily at around the evening dinner hour,....when many generators are running microwaves anyhow.
If 4 batteries result in "no gen run" time thru a weekend or what ever, or are needed for a large inverter etc, then it makes sense,
otherwise between the added weight, extra connections, extra maintainence, and double the $s burning up in battery longivity, and me listening to a generator run 4 hrs straight, 4 batteries is rediculous,......IMO I should have added.
