Except that no one should assume they will get this advantage unless they've very carefully designed their system to go beyond charge rates that a flooded lead acid cell system can accept. If you wanted a tiny capacity and bought a monster converter/charger, AGM would help on the charge rate front, but for most capacities and most converters (typically designed for FLA DC batteries) and most usage patterns, I suspect most people with AGMs won't see this advantage.
I posted above that you could go to C/3 for flooded lead acid FLA batteries. My reading is that this may reduce battery life, but the extra replacement cost is far less than an AGM would cost, so up to about there (C/3) is where I'd draw the line at FLA and go to AGM. The power needs set the capacity C. Then decide if you fit within C/3 charge rate. If you want/need even faster, then I'd look at AGM or something other than the FLA DC.
