One other thing, In the original post you mentioned "one hour charging" Not possible if you want to FULLY charge the batteries.
But it might be possible if you use AGM's (specifically LIFELINE AGM) and a big enough generator and converter.. Read the informaiton on the LIFELINE website about re-charging. I'm not expert on those batteries but I have read the web site. Other AGM's.. Well Xantrex recommends the same charging rate for AGM's as it does Flooded wet cells. But Lifeline, has it's own recommendations.
