Thanks for the great pics Soundguy. Those are incredibly helpful. I was going to have the shop do the work, but now I'm thinking it might be ok to do the job myself as I'm a handy guy.

Just wondering what you used to plug the original pickup hole on the tank and any other tips about which parts work best for this job would be greatly appreciated.
