Keystone Travel trailer faulty design
I need help. I just purchased a 2015 Keystone Laredo 322RL. This is the second Keystone travel trailer I have purchased. The design of this unit has serious flaws that need to be addressed as it is not safe to use as is.
The three issues I have are
1. The slide that has the freestanding dinette has a lip over 1 inch high where the slide floor meets the trailer floor. This lip makes it dangerous and impossible to use the dinette chairs as two of the chair legs go past the lip and put the chairs on a dangerous angle.
2. The heat vent in the lounge area gets covered by the pull out bed when the bed is extended making it impossible for the heat to get into the lounge.
3. The street side door on the pass thru storage area has been eliminated making it impossible for me to use half of the storage area as I can't get to it. Keystone maintains it was a rule change, but info. from RVIA shows that if Keystone just changed the hinge location all would have been fine.
I have tried to resolve with Keystone but their answer is "It was built as designed".
I'd like opinions of how to proceed further and/or how to get the name and mailing address of the President of Keystone so I can deal with someone there that might care.
Thank you
