Design Flaw in Fresh Water Pickup Line New Trailer

There was a thread a long time ago, showing a bent tube to pick up water near the tank bottom. A brass fitting was used with a piece of copper tubing that was bent in a gentle S shape and inserted in the side port. The assembly was marked so that it could be oriented properly. If a drain connection won't work for you, perhaps this would be an option.
