Totally agree with you 100%. But there isn't.
The only way to find the proof for yourself is to go to honda.com click on power equipment then on generators. Then at lower left click brouchures and order a generator brochure. It's FREE !!!!!!

The only way to PROVE any of this is DIY. SPL meters are now Smartphone Apps and way better than what's on the market for less than $1k.
Sounds like a good Quartzsite science project next year. Lots of room, darn near any generator ever made to test, and we set our own parameters..
