Early in my RVing I bought the 22-gal Barker tote, which I believe is the model Burbman linked. Like the OP, I was shocked when I filled it and tried to lift it into the back of my truck.
Later when I bought a Macerator I would fill the barker as it sat in the truck, but there was invariably some "splash". That's when I realized that If I have a macerator, I don't need a traditional tote with a 3" fill opening.
I bought a seris of jerry cans (normally used for drinking water), and rigged a short hose and spout to the macerator. A jerry can with six gallons of goodies in it is much easier to heft into the truck, or lug to a dump hookup. I set the cans on their sides with the spout in the 3" dump orifice and let them chug away as they empty.
So: No more Barker for me, as long as I have a working macerator.
