Thanks to everyone for the good info and perspective.
Looks like I'll be purchasing one of these portable waste tanks that have the capability to be emptied in the horizontal position. So far it looks like both the Thetford SmartTote and Barker 4-wheeler have this capability. Also noticed Tote-N-Stor has one, but it looks like it would be very clumsy and awkward to use. Are there other portable waste tanks that empty horizontally that I should consider?
