Dimmer for led lights

Finally got around to installing the dimmer listed above.

Works great. Easy install.

Its been my experience this type of ultra cheap knock offs from china are hit and miss. Order a few extras and you'll still save money

I purchased 5 of those last summer. I would not recommend them. 3 of mine have failed already.

Only took a month for ours to arrive ! came in the mail today

I just converted a 30 watt Florescent to LED 5 Meters of peal and strip lights, some soldering and WOW.. Much mnore light than the old fixture did.. (I LIKE IT) it's my kitchen light.. I think when I convert the other two I'm going to use only 2.5 meters of LED's (they are smaller fixtures to start with)

how did you get 16ft of led strip inside of (1) 30w florescent fixture
i used (3) 15" strips in one fixture and have as much light as the original two tubes

If the PWM got hot when it was turned down there must be a problem with it. By design, if you turn a PWM down, the switching device on the board is turned on less time and it uses less power, so should run cooler.

Even if it had a low current device, it should be cooler when it is turned down.

I've found 2 out of about 20 that I've bought that weren't built correctly.

I've been using the cheapest off ebay. Chinese quality??

Our LED dimmer is on its way from China too.

Eager to see how it works for the under awning light. We often go without the awning light as it's so bright as to flood nearby campsites with light.

My dimmer's amperage consumption both change with light intensity, the one motor speed controller's heat sinks just got extremely hot while the LED dimmer did not. Both fans and lights drew the same minimum and maximum at full speed on the fan or brightness of the LEDS in comparison to each other.
