Dimmer switch or cover for bright bedroom light?

Does anyone have an easy solution for the light over the bed in my 5th wheel being as bright as search light? The things I find online for dimmers look like switch replacements but the light in quest...

You could do the same thing I do when my "check engine" light comes on and stays on -- just cover it up with duct tape! ;)
