Hey Mex - I see a couple of interesting DC CLAMP ON AMPMETTERS in the list... Might just take a closer look...
I had one of those SEARS CRAFTSMAN 400A AC/DC clamp-on meters ($69) for a long time and can't find it anymore. I probably left it on a tree stump out camping in the woods somewhere...
Always neat to know how many amps you are pulling from the battery bank as well as how many DC amps are being demanded when being charged.
I did manage to keep a couple of the good ole FLUKE Mdl 77 multi-meters from my working days... Thank goodness they both have the nice rubberized protection cases... These have to be around 20 years old - maybe older...
I know I use one of them everyday doing something... One in my truck and the other one here in the house...
