Disconnect Solar Before Checking Battery Levels?

I just installed a 140w solar panel and 10a PWM controller. I thought about it, but did not install an on/off switch anywhere in the “system”. The solar panel is connected directly to/from the contr...

Some or all controllers are supposed to be connected to the battery first , then connect the array. EG, that's when mine gets to decide if it is on 12v or 24v batteries.

Pulling the battery fuse would be wrong procedure. Switch goes on the array side.
