Disconnect Solar Before Checking Battery Levels?

I just installed a 140w solar panel and 10a PWM controller. I thought about it, but did not install an on/off switch anywhere in the “system”. The solar panel is connected directly to/from the contr...

It may be funny but it works, a tarp will do the same thing.


I didn't say it wouldn't work, but why climb on the roof with a piece of cardboard or tarp if there is a switch or a fuse or simply loosen a screw and remove the power leed from the panel.
