If you visit an RV store there are some realy heavy duty Switches,, Marine grade battery disconnect switches that can easily pass several hundred amps when closed... I'd put one of these in one of the battery leads (Does not matter which so long as only the battery is connected to one side and whatever is hooked to the battery now is connected to the other side).
That way you need no wrench.
