I have personally used Makanika that I bought at Ace Hardware Store and it works okay if you aren't in a hurry(2-3 hrs+). Followed up with denatured alcohol will remove the last bit of gummy stuff and you're done! Just removed some silicone last week.
Another thing that does a pretty good job on the silicone is plain old gasoline. It seems to break down the chemical bonds and the stuff sorta falls apart in little pieces. I don't use it anymore because of the smell.
