3-day fight. When facing stupid acts like using silicone on a recessed expensive glass Fresnel lens that has to twist to remove I tend to smoulder. The joint is utterly shrouded. A utility knife blade eased into the crack told me what the sealer is consisted of. Beimg down here I'll bet there are more restrictions on shipping than I'd care to know about. CREE the LED manufacturer is supposed to be intelligent enough to know to seal with silicone grease. Used correctly the grease will seal for 20-years. Don't like companies that go way out of their way to make a perfectly re-useable product throwaway. Snarl Snap.
